Tibetan scholar-practitioner, program director and faculty member of Maitripa College in Portland, Leigh Miller will talk about the concept of 'mirroring' which, Leigh writes, “Jiko Tisdale, following from Daijakui Kinst, following from the psychologist Kohut, claims is crucial for practitioners and is my personal experience as well.” The talk looks at how 'mirrors' shows up as metaphor, iconographic symbol, and so forth in Buddhist literature and our popular culture.
